Casey I have tried to find the time to send a brag letter about Casey for months now. Well here it is just about Xmas and I’m finally getting to it. I was just checking out the new kids on your site and had a chuckle about “Sticky”. He so reminds me of our buddy “Casey” when we first brought him home.  Everywhere that I went so did Casey. He soon bonded with our 8 yr old son as his buddy, which is such a pleasure for us due to the fact that if you can’t find the kids you just have to call the dog and you will know where the kids are.  He never leaves their sides when we are out riding in the bush or going anywhere as a family.  There have been occasions when the work truck has left for work with a stowaway in the back seat to spend a day on site. But in saying that, if he has to stay home, that’s exactly what he does. Patiently waiting on the porch for us when we arrive. I remember asking Leslie about how much space an ACD would need, as we live in town, and she said that they would adapt to their environment, which was absolutely true. Casey’s favorite pass time in the summer is chasing the waves on the beach after the boats have gone by, and if we are at Papa’s cattle ranch he fits in there too. We are so thankful to have Casey in our lives, friends and strangers come to our home and are so amazed with how well mannered and friendly he is.  Many of them have asked us if he is real a Blue Heeler. Our reply to them is yes, and once you have had one of these dogs you will never have another, but he comes from a very special breeder (Leslie) and if you want to have a buddy like him you should go and see Casey’s parents. It’s not uncommon to see Maggie hanging out on Leslie’s lap for a cuddle.
